Courtney England is a Savanah-based painter and BFA graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she studied 2D and 3D Design. After more than a decade away from active studio practice, she returned to painting in 2025 with a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
Her current series, Low Country Table, is rooted in the landscape, light and flavors of coastal Georgia – painted from her home on Wilmington Island, where the marsh meets the table. Working primarily in oil on canvas, Courtney creates vibrant, expressive still life studies that celebrate the abundance of Southern food, the warmth of coastal living, and the quiet beauty of everyday ingredients. Peaches, shrimp, figs, crabs and garden vegetables become small acts of joy on the canvas.
